4-JUN-2018
On 4th June 2018, Prof G.M.T Emezue, as the Dean of the Faculty of Humanities, played host to Prof Brando Okolo from IMAPS, Germany. Prof Brando Okolo donated a sample 3D printer to the University. This printer shall be one of the hands-on tools for practical sessions, demonstrations and introduction to the capabilities of 3D modelling and printing, which proposed to begin at the Alex Ekwueme Federal University, Ndufu-Alike, Ebonyi State, Nigeria. This partnership was negotiated by Ms Chiaka Nnodi, who was made the coordinator of the program in AE-FUNAI.
This donation inspired the Faculty to propose a 3D Training programme which the university and members of the public can leverage on for the purposes of skill development in this area.
